Consumable parts guide
Keep your machine working consistently
Consumable parts naturally wear during operation. Regular inspection and timely replacement help maintain consistent weld quality, accurate wire delivery and reliable machine performance. Always replace a part sooner if it is dirty, damaged or affecting the quality of the process.
Important: protective lens guidance
The protective lens listed below is the internal sacrificial lens fitted inside the machine’s welding gun/torch head. It is not a pair of laser safety goggles and should not be confused with personal eye protection.
The table states replace the protective lens every 8 hours as the routine maintenance guidance. Actual service life varies according to the material, working conditions and the operator’s proficiency. An inexperienced operator may need to replace a lens after approximately 10 operating hours or slightly longer. With correct use, a skilled engineer may find that a lens lasts 3–4 working days, or even longer. These real-world timeframes are for reference only; always inspect the lens and replace it sooner if contaminated, marked or damaged.
