Technical information

Spot Welding:
Spot welding can be achieved by adjusting the process parameters.

TITANIUM – welding and cutting

Maximum Welding Thickness for Titanium:

Laser Welder 1.5 kW: Up to 2 mm

Laser Welder 2kW: Up to 3 mm

Laser Welder 3kW: Up to 4 mm

TITANIUM Cutting: Only capable of simple cutting up to 2 mm thickness.

Note: Titanium welding is rarely performed. It is recommended to use Argon gas shielding and Titanium filler wire.

Working Distances: The distance the nozzle needs to be for:

Welding/Cutting Nozzle to Workpiece: Typically maintain a distance of 2-5 mm.

Cleaning Head (for oxide/paint removal): Maintain a distance of 120 mm to 500 mm from the surface.

TITANIUM – welding and cutting

Laser Weld and Cut represents ACME in Europe and the UK.
ACME welders are known for their high- quality resistance welding equipment, particularly in the automotive and construction industries.
